I built the YMMfire.ca website the night the evacuation from Fort McMurray was announced to help coordinate places to stay for the 88,000 evacuees of that wirldfire. This site aims to provide updates resources in a mobile-friendly format for those that are currently displaced or at risk of displacement and to help with the coordination of volunteers and resources. Since then, there have been a few iterations of this site with the goal of being able to provide support early in evacuation events bridging the gap until government and NGO resources are in place. This site has no ads and sells no information. Google Analytics is used to assess usage of the site.
